It's a summer camp for the visually impaired and it's all about offering the camper new experiences.

"Leader Rocks for the Blind Summer Experience Live Independently Camp, we hold it every year.  It's a week program.  Kids arrive on a Friday and leave on a Friday.  They do different activities throughout the week," said Merideth Griffin with Leader Dogs for the Blind.

"I can see those windows, I can see my hands, but like depending on how far you get, I make out some detail and then after that there's like nothing out of that one eye," said camper Jeff Humphrey.

What have you done for the first time this week I asked camper Jazmin Palmer?

"I've tandem biked.  I've canoed before, but I was little.  I never paddled in anything by myself."

How about we add some rock wall climbing to that list.  So Humphrey and Palmer hit the walls and with the instructor's guidance made an impressive climb.

So, scaling a 100 foot wall is no easy task.  Fox 2's Alan Longstreet decided to try it blindfolded and it was game over.  You've really got to hand it to these teens.

We asked Palmer whether it was fun or scary.

"It was a little bit of both, but once I got used to it, I really didn't think about it much," she said.  "Just do what you want.  Don't like hold back because you think you can't do it.  Just go for it, I guess."
