16-year-old Ton Do-Nguyen nailed the scene-for-scene mock of Beyonce's "Countdown" video.
So much so...Queen Bey... Ms. Beyonce herself... linked the teen's performance to her web page saying.... "I think he did this video better than I did. Love B"
The endorsement from his idol was overwhelming.
"It was a hot mess! A hot mess of a moment. It was amazing," exclaimed Do-Nguyen.
We caught up with the talented teen at his Penndel home.
Of course he showed us some of his moves.
Then shared some of the behind the scenes secrets of his snuggi-fied performance that's made him an Internet sensation with more than 871,000-plus views.
"I would try and get one part down like, I'd practice that dancing part do it in front of a mirror
until I got it down pat. Then I'd film that part and edit that part."
It took the Neshaminy High junior 8-months to finish the video.
"There's so many intricate details to get down. It's really hard to get down everything."
But with an endorsement from his idol Beyonce, Do-Nguyen says more videos are in his future, maybe even Hollywood if the opportunity calls.
"That'd be cool," he said when asked if he'd consider the show So You Think You Can Dance. I'm not a professional. I do it for fun. Maybe there is something out there for me out there."
Do-Nguyen hasn't gotten any calls yet to be on camera. But several people have contacted him about editing possibilities. If Hollywood doesn't work out the Neshaminy Junior class president says he'll pursue something in the sciences.
