Local pastors, Mexican activists march for peace in Chicago

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

Pastors of several churches will march with the Caravan for Peace on Monday, appealing for people to march with them - for an end to the violence and drugs.

Two bus loads of Mexican activists with the "Caravan for Peace" coalition rolled into Chicago Sunday.

Members believe failed U.S. policies are behind the violence in Mexico and Chicago's status as the "deadliest global city."

Chicago is one of 20 U.S. cities being visited by the caravan, which embarked from San Diego in August.
