Fox 2 has learned that Third Circuit Court Judge Wade McCree has been placed on administrative leave following a report filed by Charle LeDuff about an alleged affair the judge had with a plaintiff in his court.

Geniene La'Shay Mott told LeDuff that she "hooked up" with McCree while he was married. She says is pregnant with McCree's child.

She shared text messages allegedly sent to her from the judge that support her claims of the affair and the notion that the McCree asked her to get an abortion.

Things went south between McCree and Mott as she said she wanted to keep the child and McCree was hedging on keeping his promises of leaving his wife to be with her.

Wayne County Circuit Court records show that McCree filed for divorce from his wife, LaVerne McCree, on Oct. 11, but the case was dismissed Nov. 28.

Mott contacted Fox 2 after Judge McCree went to the Wayne County prosecutor claiming Mott was stalking and extorting him.  McCree failed to mention his baby, the house or the child support case to the investigators.  Still, the investigators looked into it and found his complaints baseless.

McCree has been in trouble with the courts before.  In October he was reprimanded for sending a nearly nude photo of himself to a court bailiff.  LeDuff reported on the photo incident and during an interview McCree told him "there's no shame in my game."

The Michigan Supreme Court publicly censured McCree for not taking the matter seriously.

Now McCree is placed on administrative leave by Third Circuit Presiding Judge Virgil Smith.

Fox 2's Charlie Langton says McCree could lose his job.
