DEBARY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
The Volusia County Sheriff's Office is investigating the discovery of a body found floating in the St. Johns River on Wednesday.
A boater came across the body around noon and then notified the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. The Sheriff's Office was brought in to assist with the recovery of the body.
The body, found just north of the Highbanks Marina near DeBary, is that of an adult male. The cause of death is unknown.
