Fire crews in Fulton County battled a blaze at a vacant elementary school on Thursday.

According to Fulton County fire authorities, the blaze started sometime after 4 a.m. at a building on Campbell Drive and Spring Street. They say the building used to be Campbellton Elementary School and the Fulton County Training Center.

"It looked to be a cause from the perspective of someone having a vehicle on the back that was on fire. At this point, don't know how it got there, the circumstances around it, but that's our initial point from an investigation perspective to see where it started," said Fulton County Deputy Fire

Fire authorities say many people dump things at the back of the building. They say they are not sure if someone lit the fire on purpose as far as the car is concerned.

No injuries have been reported. The building appears to be a total loss.
