CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

The Chicago area could soon be hit by yet another teachers strike.

Teachers in West Chicago elementary school District 33 are threatening to walk off the job.

District officials and teachers have not met since Dec. 3. The union has filed intent to strike, though a walkout is not expected until Jan. 7 at the earliest.

The key issues are pay, health benefits and working conditions.
