NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A woman was in critical condition after being hit by a train in Manhattan's Harlem neighborhood.

The incident took place Monday at about 3 p.m. at the Saint Nicholas Avenue and West 125th Street station.

The unidentified woman was rushed to Harlem Hospital after the incident.  Police did not release details on what happened.

There have been two recent high-profile incidents in New York City involving people being hit by trains.  In each of those cases, the victim was pushed in front of the train.

Suspects were arrested in those deadly incidents.  There was no immediate indication that Monday's incident was criminal in nature.
