PHILADELPHIA -

New surveillance video released Monday night by police shows two suspects believed to be involved in the slashing of tires on now nearly 60 cars.

The slashings happened on the 5000 block of Hazel Avenue and the 5300 block of Chancellor Avenue in West Philadelphia between 5:30 a.m. and 6:40 a.m. Monday morning.

Investigators now believe there are two suspects involved. Earlier Monday, it wasn't clear how many may be behind the slashings.

Police describe the first suspect as a black female, 30-years of age standing 5'3" tall with a  stocky build and long hair. Police say she was last seen in a red or pink jacket carrying a light colored bag.

The second suspect is described by police as a black man standing 5'11" tall with a dark complexion and dark clothing.

On Monday night, Police Commissioner Charles Ramsey announced a reward courtesy of the mayor's office for $5,000 for the arrest and conviction of those responsible. An additional $5,000 reward was also offered by Fraternal Order of Police President John McNesby for just the arrest of the people involved.

If you have any information, you're asked to call police at 215-686-TIPS (8477) or via text message, 773847.
