2 New Jersey Children Die Of Flu

CAMDEN COUNTY, N.J. -

This flu season is just getting started, and it's already an epidemic. Now, more deaths in our area are being blamed on the flu outbreak.

The New Jersey Department of Health says an 8-month-old boy from Camden County and a 14-year-old boy from Ocean County both died from the flu virus.

This year's flu outbreak has turned into a national epidemic, with patients flooding hospitals and health care clinics.

Health officials say it is not too late to get the flu shot if you haven't already done so.
