No injuries in Woodlawn building collapse

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -

A vacant building collapsed Saturday night in the Woodlawn neighborhood on the South Side.

Firefighters were called to the building in the 6300 block of South Evans Avenue about 10:50 p.m., according to Fire Media Affairs.

The building was vacant and the still-and-box alarm was struck out about 11 p.m., fire media said.
