ST. CLOUD, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
St. Cloud police officers are seeking two of three men whom investigators say robbed a man after allegedly entering his home and attacking him with a stun gun.
According to police, just after midnight on Monday morning, the suspects entered the home of the victim on Carolina Avenue. They said one man pulled out a stun gun and demanded money from the victim, and that, during the encounter, the victim was stunned with the device and struck several times in the head.
Officers attempted to stop the suspects as they were traveling from the scene in a car. The car stopped and one of the men jumped out and fled on foot. Officers became involved in a foot chase and caught one suspect, identified as Cletus Motley. Officers said Motley swung at an officer, striking the officer in the head.
Motley has been charged with burglary to an occupied structure, burglary with a battery therein, false imprisonment, aggravated assault, aggravated battery, robbery, grand theft, resisting with violence, battery on a law enforcement officer. Motley also had outstanding warrants for his arrest.
