NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

February, a rescue cat that calls the K&B Candy Store home on the Upper East Side, loves people, but apparently hates dogs.

February is making life miserable for the customers of a doggie day care located two doors down from the K&B at 1107 First Ave, near 61st St.

"She thinks she owns the block so she sometimes sits in the middle of the block and won't let dogs pass," Joshua Stine, who owns Running Paws.  "The (ones) that aren't quick enough get a fist full of claws."

Running Paws offers dogs grooming, a day spa and manners classes.  A sign on the candy store door reads: ‘Please No Pets In The Store.'

Customers say the oversized-feline is actually a very nice cat.
