NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A bus operated by a private company has struck and killed a pedestrian at E. 105th St and Ave. K in Canarsie, Brooklyn, said police.

SkyFoxHD was over the scene where several police vehicles could be seen.

Streets in the surrounding area were closed.

The Associated Press reported the victim is a woman.

The deadly incident occurred at 7:13 a.m.
