Normal westbound service resumed with the no. 14 train scheduled to arrive in Chicago at 10:28 a.m. with an expected 15-20 minute delay, according to the Northern Indiana Commuters Transportation District's website. The eastbound no. 7 train scheduled to depart Chicago at 8:45 a.m. was running about 30 minutes late.
Metra said on its website that it will honor South Shore ticketed passengers who rode the Metra Electric train line Monday morning.
