Pastor spots her church's stolen property at store

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Surveillance video often captures crimes taking place. But in one video not only do we see the accused thieves wheeling in the stolen goods it also captures them being arrested.

It was thanks to Rev. Ada Jones. She was in a Sam Ash Music store on Long Island when she noticed some men bringing in music equipment that looked very familiar.

Turns out, it was the very equipment that had been stolen from her church, New Jerusalem Church of Christ in Uniondale, on Wednesday.

The reverend happened to be in Sam Ash to replace the stolen stuff.

The video shows her actually approaching one of the suspects. She then told the salesperson who in turn told the store manager, who then called 911.

Cops, uniformed and undercover, got there quickly and arrested the suspects.

Give or take just a few minutes, none of this would have ever happened.

Some may say it was all a coincidence.

The reverend however believes otherwise.
