A group of WWE wrestlers lent their star power to an anti-bullying campaign at Atlanta's Hope Hill Elementary School on Monday. Their visit was part of an initiative called Be A Star, an acronym for "Show Tolerance And Respect."
WWE superstar Kofi Kingston is used hearing his name chanted when he's in the ring, but on Monday he heard it from a different crowd. Students at Hope Hill Elementary chanted his name after he told them he was teased about it as a kid. Kingston says he was bullied as a kid, but he also told the kids he watched other kids get bullied on the playground when he was in school.
Kingston was joined on stage by fellow wrestler Layla, who told the kids how to battle cyberbullying. Meanwhile, Hornswoggle got down to the kids' level to tell them how he never let his size stop him from pursuing his dream of becoming a WWE star.
As an added bonus, 100 Hope Hill Elementary students were special guests of the WWE at Monday night's RAW event at Philips Arena.
