In some countries, rhythmic gymnastics is a top sport for young women. It's a sport not seen often in America, unless we're watching the Olympics. If some young athletes have their way, the sport will soon gain importance in north Georgia.
Good Day Atlanta's Paul Milliken traveled to Sandy Springs to get a preview of the tournament to be held this weekend.
The Star Cup Rhythmic Gymnastics Invitational Tournament is coming to Sandy Springs on February 9 and 10! The event is being hosted by the Sandy Springs Golden Ribbon Gymnastics team. It will be held at North Springs Charter School at 7447 Roswell Road.
