Trenton Regional Rail Service Resumes After Man Hit By Train

PHILADELPHIA -

Service along the Trenton Regional Rail has resumed after man was struck by a SEPTA train Wednesday night.

The incident happened in the area of Torresdale Avenue, near Holmesburg Prison Wednesday evening.

A SEPTA spokesperson tells FOX 29 the man was stuck by the train on the Trenton to Philadelphia route.

As a result of the incident, the service to the Trenton Regional Rail line was suspended, but has since resumed.

SEPTA says passengers were transferred to another train.

The condition of the man is not yet clear.
