Plane lands without landing gear at NJ airport

FAIRFIELD, N.J. (AP) - A twin-engine plane landed without landing gear at New Jersey's Essex County Airport.

The Federal Aviation Administration says it doesn't appear anyone was injured.

The FAA says the Piper PA-30 made a gear-up landing on Runway 4 at 11:10 a.m. Thursday.

It's not known how many people were aboard or what caused the problem with the landing gear.
