NAPERVILLE, Ill. (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
Bond has been set at $1 million for a man who was arrested by west suburban Naperville police after allegedly trying to arrange a sexual encounter with a child.
Bryan E. Woldman, 35, lives on the 7000 block of Clearwater Drive in Plainfield. He remains in Will County Jail in Joliet in lieu of $100,000 bond on felony charges of solicitation to meet a child 5 years old or older, traveling to meet a minor and grooming.
Woldman was booked into the jail just before 4 a.m. Saturday, according to records. He is scheduled to appear Monday afternoon in Will County Circuit Court.
Details of the case against Woldman and the circumstances surrounding his arrest could not be immediately learned. Naperville police Cmdr. Ray Adkins on Saturday said he was aware of Woldman's arrest but did not know anything further about the matter.
An examination of court documents indicated Woldman has received numerous traffic tickets in Will, DuPage and Kane counties but has no criminal record.
