15-year-old boy wounded in Southeast Side shooting

CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) -
A teenage boy was shot in the back Monday afternoon on the Southeast Side.
The 15-year-old was shot about 4:55 p.m. near East 106th Street and South Avenue L, then ran into a Walgreens in the 3600 block of East 106th, according to Fire Media Affairs.
Paramedics took him to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Fire Media said.
Police said the boy was shot in the lower back and was in "stable" condition.
