ORLANDO, Fla. -- It's an international event which could bring 250,000 visitors and more than $100 million dollars to the economy. Orlando is a finalist to host the 2018 Gay Games.
Orlando is among an elite group of cities like London, Amsterdam, and Paris hoping to host the event, and late last week, President Barack Obama threw his support behind Orlando's efforts.
FOX 35's Chase Cain updates us on Central Florida's efforts to bring the event here.
