Detroit River Days returns in June

Plans for the 6th annual Detroit River Days festival are in full-swing. The festival will take place June 21-23.

For many, the festival is a kick off to summer on the Detroit International Riverfront. More than 150,000 people attended in 2012.
The festival includes live concerts, interactive exhibits, carnival rides, eco-friendly kids' zones, entertainers and sand sculptures.

The Detroit RiverFront Conservancy will also celebrate its 10 year anniversary.

The festival is pet friendly, but dogs must remain on a leash at all times.
