The Atlanta Sports Council presented their annual "Atlanta Sports Awards" on Tuesday at the Fox Theater.

Falcons coach Mike Smith was coach of the year, while Georgia's Jarvis Jones was named college athlete of the year.

Alabama-bound Alvin Karmar was named the high school athlete of the year.

Recently-retired Atlanta Braves legend Chipper Jones was honored with the lifetime achievement award.
