Police Search For Man In Attempted Child Abduction

GALLOWAY TOWNSHIP, N.J. -
Police in Galloway Township are searching for a man in his 30s who allegedly tried to abduct a teenage girl.
According to police, the attempted abduction happened along U.S. Route 9 near Chanese Lane last Wednesday.
Police say the man approached a teenager but drove off after a brief struggle.
The teenager suffered a minor injury to her foot.
Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic man in his 30s standing approximately 5'4" to 5'6" tall. He is reported to have a stocky build with short-cropped black hair and a mustache with a goatee. Police say he was last seen wearing jeans and a blue jacket.
The man was seen driving a black BMW 4-door sedan south on Route 9.
