PHILADELPHIA -

A busy first day of free agency continued Tuesday when the Eagles announced they had agreed to terms on a three-year deal with tight end James Casey.

Casey played in 61 games in four years with the Texans as both a fullback and a tight end.

According to the team's official website, the 28-year-old set career highs last year in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns.

The Eagles made several roster moves Monday, including the release of cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha.

The team also announced the addition of free agent safety Patrick Chung. The safety was signed to a three-year deal.

In four seasons with the Patriots, the Eagles say Chung recorded 235 tackles, seven interceptions, three sacks and 19 passes defensed.
