CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -
A group of lay Catholics is using the papal conclave to make a point about the church excluding women from the priesthood.
They will gather outside Holy Name Cathedral at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, and send pink smoke into the air. It's just one of the many protests taking place across the country.
The smoke symbolizes the group's belief that women should be priests and part of the pope selection process.
Rev. Barbara Zeman joined Good Day Chicago's Chat Room on Wednesday, and discussed her group's view, and how they believe they can effect a good change in the church they love.
