COCOA BEACH, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -
One person is in custody following reports of threats made on the campus of Brevard Community College in Cocoa.
Investigators said they received a call notifying them that a person was overheard in a restroom making threats to harm people in the library. There was an evacuation and search of the building by a SWAT unit with the Brevard County Sheriff's Office. A person was taken to the Cocoa Beach Police Department for questioning, but authorities said no weapon was found.
Students received a text alert informing them that classes have been canceled for the day.
