Smoke and fog causes multiple accidents on I-95 in Volusia County

Posted: Updated:

It caused several accidents in both north and southbound lanes and tied up traffic for hours.  The Florida Highway Patrol says the most severe crash occurred in the southbound lanes of I-95 after two tractor-trailers stopped around mile-marker 234 due to the heavy smoke and fog in the area.

This caused the visibility to be very low, and the same conditions are expected Monday morning.  Ray Raimundi has the story.
