A Chester County man and his son were arrested for hosting an underage drinking party this St. Patrick's Day weekend, police said.
Police said they responded to a report of an underage drinking party with illegal drug use at a home in East Goshen Township at 11:17 pm Saturday night. The home belongs to 46-year-old Raymond Bonnett, who lives there with his 18-year-old son, Elliott.
Police said they found several people who looked to be younger than 18 holding beer bottles and drinking out of plastic cups in and around the home upon their arrival.
Police then tried to contact the residents by calling the home and cell phone numbers, but were unable to make contact. Police said parents of the partiers began to appear, telling police that their underage children were in the house, but that they could not make contact with them.
Due to parents' increasing concern for their children's safety, police said they finally entered the home after trying to make contact for an hour. There were 19 people under 21 drinking, and 17 of them were under 18. One teenager was found in the basement, unconscious and covered in vomit. EMS responded to the scene and parents were called to come and pick up their children.
Police arrested Bonnett and his son for two counts of felony interference with the custody of children, 16 counts of endangering the welfare of children, 16 counts of corruption of minors, and 18 counts of selling or furnishing liquor to minors.
The Bonnetts were taken to Chester County Prison on a $20,000 cash bail. They have posted bail and now await a preliminary hearing scheduled for March 27th.
The teenagers who drank at the party will be issued citations for underage drinking.

Another spectacular weather day with mostly sunny skies and low humidity. Temperatures top off in the lower 80s. About ten degrees cooler at the shore, with a sea breeze.
The stickies will come back just in time for summer.
