The U.S. Marshals announced that they have captured the man who was charged with first degree murder in the execution-style shooting of his wife in 2005, in Reading, PA.
42 year-old Miguel Torres allegedly shot his estranged wife, Barbara, in her back while she was trying to flee Torres. A restraining order had just been put in place against Torres, 4 days prior to the crime.
Torres fled the scene in his wife's vehicle. He switched cars and eventually and made his way to New York's Laguardia Airport.
Torres apparently settled in Italy where he assumed the name 'Rene Rondon.'
He was added to the U.S. Marshal's "Most Wanted" fugitive list in June of 2011.
He was arrested on March 15 in Bologna, Italy at his residence by Italian authorities, acting on information provided by the U.S. Marshals.
