NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

A Long Island middle school principal is accused of having sex with a teenager he met online.

Nassau County police arrested John Omard, the principal at J.W. Dodd Middle School in Freeport.

Police say he met a 16-year-old boy on a social website, arraigned a meeting with him, drove him back to his house and engaged in sexual acts with the boy against his will.  Police say the attack happened back in September.

Omard is charged with four criminal sex acts.  He was awaiting arraignment Wednesday in Hempstead.  Information on the defendant's attorney was not immediately available.
