Rates of premature death in counties across the United States are the lowest in 20 years, but people in the least healthy counties are more than twice as likely to die early as those in the healthiest counties.

The University of Wisconsin and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation have released their 2013 County Health Rankings study.

This study is a collection of 50 reports, each representing a U.S. State, which ranks the state's counties based on how 'healthy' they are.    Several health factors are taken into account including health behaviors, clinical care, social and economic factors and physical environment.

Topping the list in Pennsylvania is Chester County.

Chester is followed by Union, Cumberland, Centre and Snyder Counties.  On the other end of the health spectrum is Philadelphia, Fayette, Greene, Sullivan and Forest.  These five counties are unhealthiest in the state.

Tuesday morning will feature another round patchy fog. It will be a mild and muggy start with temps in the mid 60s for the city and around 60 for the suburbs.  Look for more clouds than sun with highs the low 80s. There could be a few spotty showers during the day.
