HALL COUNTY, Ga. -

The Hall County Sheriff's Office is showing off a four-wheel cost-saving measure they hope will save the department thousands.

Sheriff Gerald Couch laid out his proposal to upgrade his department's aging fleet of patrol cars.

They unveiled their first refurbished vehicle on Thursday, a 2001 Ford Crown Victoria.

The refurb costs a little more than $14,000 -- a savings of more than $17,000 for a brand new control car.
