CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) -

They may not be very good on the field, but the Cubs are champions in the profit department.

Forbes says the team took in more than $32 million last year, making them the most profitable team in all of major league baseball and the fourth most valuable franchise in baseball. The Yankees, Dodgers, and Red Sox ranked as the top three most valuable franchises, according to Forbes.

The Cubs are expected to rake in millions more from a new TV contract next year.
