Swab party for bone marrow registry

NEW YORK (MYFOXNY) -

Get swabbing and help save a life.   That's the idea behind a swab party being held in Midtown by the Delete Blood Cancer organization.

The take a quick swab of the inside of the mouth to get people registered as possible donors.

Organizers say thousands in need of transplants don't get them because there are so few people on the national bone marrow registry.
