Deputies ID transgender woman's body found near OBT

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

Detectives with the Orange County Sheriff's Office have identified a transgender woman who was found deceased after units responded to a call of shots fired in south Orlando on Thursday morning. 

Around 5:40 a.m., the body of Ashley Sinclair, 30, was found in a wooded area off of Nimrod Lane, not far from the intersection of Orange Blossom Trail and Oak Ridge Road.

Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding this investigation to call Crimeline at 800-423-TIPS (8477).
