Sanders' famous Bumpy Cake turns 100 years old this April. The company is celebrating by offering a free slice on April 27. You can sink your teeth into this treat at the following locations:

  • Sanders Livonia Laurel Park Place Mall (Sat 10a-9p)

  • Sanders St. Clair Shores 31075 Harper (Sat 10a-9p)

Select local stores will also sell Chocolate Bumpy Tea Cakes for $5.00 on April 27.

Sanders opened its bakery division in 1913. The chocolate layer cake with butter cream and rich fudge topping was named by customers who came in and asked for the "cake with the bumps."
