San Pedro, CA -

(FOX 11 / CNS) A man who pulled out a gun during an argument with a woman and then barricaded himself overnight inside a home in San Pedro was taken into custody this morning, and no one was hurt, authorities said.

Police were sent to the 700 block of South Meyler Street just before 8 p.m. Tuesday. A SWAT team was then sent to the scene, and officers blocked off the street.

At one point, the woman came out of the residence, and then went back inside, said LAPD Officer Diana Figueroa of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section.

During the standoff, the unidentified woman -- whose relationship to the man was unclear -- was not considered a hostage, Figueroa said.

The man was taken into custody late this morning, said LAPD Lt. Andrew Neiman. His name was not immediately released.
