FLAGLER COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35 ORLANDO) -

A Flagler County woman has been arrested after deputies say she pulled a .22-caliber rifle on a couple of repo men trying to tow her Ford Mustang and fired it to chase them away.

Victoria Higgins of Daytona North, has been charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly
weapon.

The two Palatka men working for a vehicle repossession company told deputies that on Tuesday afternoon, they came to Higgins' home to recover her black Mustang.

As one of them tried to back a tow truck into the driveway, Higgins came outside her Mahogany Boulevard home with a .22 caliber rifle, ordered them off her property and fired one shot into the ground, they said. Higgins then drove off with the Mustang.

Deputies later found the Mustang at her mother-in-law's home. They also recovered the firearm there, under the back porch.

Higgins was taken to the Flagler County Inmate Facility and held on $10,000 bond.
