MAPLE SHADE, N.J. -

Police in Maple Shade say they have identified the man wanted in connection to a Tuesday morning copper theft.

Investigators say they have issued arrest warrants for 46-year-old Joseph Bordo, Jr. The suspect is a former resident of Maple Shade, but investigators say it's not clear where he currently lives.

According to police, Bordo is wanted in connection to a theft that happened Tuesday morning at an unoccupied home on the 600 block of Princeton Avenue.

Officers were called to the home after the landlord's son found a pickup truck parked in the driveway. While calling his father, police say a man came out of the front door with a container full of copper pipes, threw them into the back of his truck and sped off.

Investigators say they were able to locate the copper in Camden, where the man allegedly sold the pipes.

Bordo faces burglary, criminal mischief and theft charges, police said.

If you have any information on Bordo's whereabouts, you're asked to call 856-382-8300 and reference case 2013-6334.

Police warn that you should not approach Bordo.
