DARBY, Pa. -

A Delaware County sheriff's deputy was accidentally shot in the leg during a raid in Darby Wednesday.

The shooting happened just before 2 p.m. inside a barber shop on the 500 block of Main Street.

According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, the deputy is expected to be okay.

Investigators say the deputies were in the process of a raid when the shooting happened. The shot was fired from the gun of a another member of the task force conducting the raid, the sheriff's office said.
