Authorities released surveillance footage of the scene on Monday.

Revelers are seen fleeing and some fall down as they appear to run from a man wearing a white T-shirt. He then turns around and runs out of view of the camera.

Police are hoping someone might recognize the man, who is now considered a suspect.

Some 400 people came out to celebrate Mother's Day about a mile and a half from the city's famous French Quarter.
