A Florida couple has a problem which just won't buzz off. A massive hornet's nest is hanging along a tree just outside of their home in Greenville.
The flying insects are not bothering the Bush's, but they're not taking any chances. The couple notified Madison County Animal Control to come take a look at the situation. Officials say the nest is approximately 20-feet in circumference, about the size of a Volkswagen.
"As I've said, if they don't bother me I won't bother them," said Norman Bush. "Yes, it concerns me, somebody wants to come by and shoot it or something like that I'm sure they would swarm everywhere and you can imagine if a child or something was out in my yard and they all attacked that child it would be bad news."
Madison County Animal Control says they plan to contact the University of Florida to help with the removal options for the nest.
