DETROIT (WJBK) -

When Cheryl Turner's little grandson Shawn was burning rubber on his bicycle, he was just riding away on the sidewalk when he started wobbling.

"He just started learning how to ride a bike, and he made a mistake and got on her grass," Turner said. "A little small piece he ran over because he fell."

"He apologized to her. Evidently it wasn't good enough. She drug him down to this house, hit him."

With a cane, Turner claimed.

"Knocked on my door and said, 'I know you don't care, but these heathens have gotten on my grass, and you need to do something about it,'" she added.

"If she don't want them on her grass, that's her right, but to threaten them because they made a mistake and fell. No, that's unacceptable."

They thought it was all over until Monday when Turner said her grandson was playing near their 59-year-old neighbor's property.

"She said, 'If you touch my sidewalk, I will kill you.' Now that was her words," Turner explained.

We were told the woman then pulled out a gun.

"She was shaking the gun at my face," said Shawn.

"Shawn is six. She threatened to hurt him. She threatened to take his life if he got back on her sidewalk," Turner said.

Turner called the cops. When they came, she said, "They took her from her home."

"They confiscated the gun and took her because that was unacceptable," she added. "She's locked up."

Detroit police confirmed these allegations, but they cannot comment because it is still an open case.

Neighbors told us the woman is from the South where no one stepped foot on her property unless invited.
