Police are asking for the public's help to identify two men wanted in connection with the home invasion and robbery of man in a wheelchair in the city's Hartranft neighborhood.

The victim was home Monday at 11:20 a.m. when he heard a knock at his door. When he opened the door, two suspects forced their way in, demanding money and hitting the victim with a gun in his face and head. They flipped the wheelchair over and continued to kick and punch him.

The victim gave the men $30 from his pocket. The suspect then heard a knock on the door and fled the scene. The suspects were captured on surveillance video running west on York Street then south on Park Avenue and then east on Dauphin Street.

Police described suspect one as a black male, between the ages of 25 and 30, 6 feet tall, with a thin build, a beard and wearing a dark-colored T-shirt, dark-colored pants and shoes.

Suspect two was reported to be a black male, 25- to 30-years-old, 5 feet 6 inches tall, with a thin build, a beard, wearing a dark-colored Polo jacket, dark-colored blue jeans, light-colored sneakers and armed with a silver handgun with a black handle.

If you know anything about these men, you are asked to call 9-1-1.
