Chef Neal Fraser of Fritzi Dog at the Farmers Market was here to share his secrets to the perfect hot dog just in time for your Fourth of July festivities.

Lisa, Steve, and Maria got the combinations of his favorite pairings.

Here's some fun facts about Fritzi's:

The hot dogs come from prime cuts (never trim - unlike most hot dogs) of humanely raised, antibiotic free, vegetarian fed meat with no added nitrates. Buns are baked fresh daily and contain no preservatives.

And for those who prefer meatless, there are gourmet whole carrot dogs and also gluten free buns for those going against the grain.

Recently launched a new menu of hot dogs:

  1. Best---Selling Garlic Dog - Cali Dog on pretzel bun with garlic aioli & crispy onions
  2. Bird of a Wire - Bird Dog on original bun with grilled peppers, onions, & sweet mustard
  3. Salsa Verde Dog - Cali Dog on original bun with salsa verde, jalapenos, cilantro, & sour cream
  4. Venice Dog - Cali Dog on pretzel bun with sweet mustard & jalapeno relish
  5. Tokyo Dog - Porker Dog on original bun with wasabi aioli, peas, Srirancha ketchup, & nori
  6. They also serve perfectly crisp, hand---battered corn dogs.

Fritzi is committed to crispy, therefore cooks their tots and fries in nothing but antioxidant-rich, eco-friendly rice bran oil.

Fritzi Dog is also serving up a new breakfast menu featuring omelet dogs wrapped with free range eggs, egg sandwiches, sous-vide bacon, and their famous tots.
