The first robbery for which authorities identified him as the suspect was the New Nam Chang Restaurant robbery. That incident at 2:30 am on May 25, 2013 saw surveillance capture a robber beating a victim with brass knuckles. After the victim fell the ground, the suspect continued to punch and kick him before robbing him.

The second robbery in question was the one on 5200 Old York Road. Police say the suspect tried to rob a pedestrian but ran off when police arrived.

Terrance Pettway was arrested on June 18, 2013. He was identified after police viewed the surveillance videos.
