Summer Fun Just Getting Started In Wildwood

Summer Fun Just Getting Started In Wildwood

Posted: Updated:
WILDWOOD, N.J. -

Just because July 4th is over doesn't mean the celebrations are over. This upcoming weekend is jam-packed with events for you and the kids.

FOX 29's Dave Kinchen was down at the Wildwoods on Friday night, where the beaches and boardwalks are busy this weekend.

Get out of the city, forget about work and keep up with that holiday spirit. They're doing that in Wildwood and, from the looks of things, they're doing it pretty well.

The Wildwood boardwalk was packed with people making good on that promise to get away for the Fourth of July weekend. All of the fun and all of the games continue.

A stroll down the boardwalk caps a day of rest and relaxation along the beaches. Families soaked up some sun and hit the water at times to beat the heat.

Vacation isn't a vacation without food, and the staff at Geno's Goodies said being stocked up on the good stuff is paying off.

The fun on the Fourth may be over, but the Friday night summer fireworks were beginning. It's one example of how this is one summer party that's just getting started, Kinchen reported.
